Mengyun Hu holds a PhD in management and a Masters in marketing. Her research interests primarily focus on technology applications in marketing and how innovative technologies (e.g., IoT) can impact individual users. More specifically, her research explores the potential effects of innovative technologies on consumers' experiences and perceived value, subsequently influencing their well-being. She places a substantial emphasis on exploring technology acceptance and adoption across different contexts in her research. In addition to investigating the influence of innovative technologies on individuals, she holds a keen interest in understanding how these technologies can contribute to the growth of e-commerce businesses. She delves into how the latest trends in technology (e.g., ChatGPT) can be incorporated into new business ideas and utilized to improve existing ones in the e-commerce industry.
