Newcastle Crime, Institutions and Action (NCIA)
Exploring how crime, institutions and public policy shape behaviour, communities, markets and economic outcomes.
About the network
Newcastle Crime, Institutions and Action (NCIA) brings together researchers working across crime, institutions, public policy, law enforcement, inequality and social harm.
Our interdisciplinary research explores how institutions shape behaviour, how public authorities respond to crime and disorder, and how these responses affect individuals, communities and markets.
Who we are
NCIA brings together researchers from Newcastle University and partner institutions, with expertise spanning economics, accounting and financial management, law and related disciplines.
