Newcastle University Business School has ‘joined the herd’!

The Business School is proud to be supporting St Oswald’s Hospice, as part of the North East’s next art trail

From 21 August – 01 November 2019, the North East will welcome Elmer’s Great North Parade, a spectacular art trail featuring fifty individually designed Elmer the Patchwork Elephant sculptures designed by artists, and 115 small elephants, which have been individually designed by local school children.

The Parade brings together businesses, schools, youth groups and the North East’s creative community to fundraise for St Oswald’s Children’s Hospice and the Business School has joined the herd! This event offers the perfect opportunity to get together with family and friends to explore the region. By downloading the app, visitors will be able to seek out and tick off each Elmer sculpture, receiving a reward each time one is  discovered.

The Business School had the opportunity to choose their Elmer from an eclectic mix of designs and theirs will be used to build awareness of the Business School's location and contribution to the city. It will creatively represent the School’s aim to lead research and innovation in the Future of Work and Leading on Leadership.

The Business School is extremely proud to be supporting this amazing project and can’t wait to reveal their design, keep your eyes peeled for the big reveal!
