Professor Jingxin Dong

Professor of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management

Background

Professor Jingxin Dong  is currently employed as a Professor of Operations Management & Supply Chain Management, Director of Postgraduate Research Programme, and Director of DBA at Newcastle University Business School. He has rich teaching and research experience in the field of operation research, operations management, logistics, and supply chain management. His expertise is to apply mathematical optimisation and computer science in these fields. He has led or participated in more than 20 research projects funded by EPSRC, EU, British Council, and Chinese governments. His REF 2014 GPA in business school is 3.5 out of 4 according to UK ABS journal ranking list.

He was  Deputy Director of PhD programme and co-Director for Research Centre for Multidisciplinary Applied Research in Organisational Excellence (MAROE) at Newcastle University Business School. Before He moved to Newcastle, He worked in Plymouth, UCL, Liverpool, and Hull.
