Judith Watson FHEA PhD MPhil BSc (Hons)


Judith is a Lecturer in International Business Management. She joined Newcastle University Business School in 2014. Previously, she held management roles in the public and private sectors. She has worked at Northumbria and Teesside Universities and has provided guest lectures in countries such as Tokyo and conference papers in countries including Bologna, Berlin and Estonia. She also spent six years working freelance with third sector organisations supporting them with business planning and strategic development. Judith has specific knowledge and experience of working with social enterprises including co-operatives and employee-ownership. As well as being awarded her PhD in 2019, she also gained Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
