Associate Dean Appointed Deputy Editor of Leading International Management Journal

Professor Noemi Sinkovics, Associate Dean for Ethics, Responsibility, and Sustainability, is part of the new editorial set-up at European Management Journal.

Professor Noemi Sinkovics has been appointed as new Deputy Editor at European Management Journal (EMJ).

She was appointed by the editorial’s leadership team and took on the role in April 2026 alongside Matteo Cristofaro, Associate Professor at University of Rome.

Shaping research quality and global impact

Noemi’s new role as Deputy Editor is integral to the publication. She will help shape the quality of research published, along with wider conversations created by EMJ that will have a wider impact across the field.

Working as part of the journal’s editorial team, Noemi will assess new submissions. She will decide which manuscripts should move forward for further review, helping to ensure a rigorous and constructive peer review process.

Noemi brings a wealth of experience to this role through her work on social, environmental and economic objectives.

She has interests in entrepreneurship, global value chains, business model innovation, and sustainable and regenerative development.

Her expertise spans qualitative and mixed methods, alongside an interest in research transparency and data sharing.

Reflecting on her appointment, she said: “I am delighted to take on the role of Deputy Editor.

“I am particularly looking forward to supporting research that combines academic rigour with wider relevance, including cross-disciplinary work that not only moves the field forward, but also offers useful insights for managers and policy actors.”

Strengthening leadership of internationally leading publication

The European Management Journal (EMJ) is a leading international scholarly journal.

It publishes research across all areas of management, presenting the latest thinking and innovative research on major management topics.
