The overall aim of the work is to support the development and deployment of the NE Regional Commissioning Pilot for Children in Care and Related Services.

The SBI team will undertake a two month study for developing and supporting this pilot, taking account (through desk work;  document analysis;  user workshops;  and the delivery of a report of the activities) of:

• Gathering examples of the relevant policies, strategies and types of practices of different users involved in the use of the system and the proposed outputs (eg.  service users, service providers, commissioners/planners)
• Analysing these in terms of the requirements of the social, organisational and technical systems using a whole systems approach
• And other issues that may emerge during the course of the project which are identified as requirements and which may influence the successful implementation of the NERCU Service Directory and Service Provision and Commissioning for Children in Care.
