**Opening in Autumn 2024**

A funding call for all staff and postgraduate researchers at Newcastle University.

Please note that there will be two calls (and deadlines) that span the academic year 2024-2025.

These awards aim to support emerging ideas that are collaborative and interdisciplinary in scope. We particularly encourage high-risk ideas that challenge existing horizons. The funding available supports a wide range of research-based activities within this remit.

We invite applications from staff and PGRs from all Faculties. Applications from PGRs must include a named member of academic staff/supervisor who will act as project approver.

Please note, if your application is successful, you will have 12 months to use the funds allocated in support of your project and in-line with your application.
