Societies and Volunteering Fair
The Societies & Volunteering Fair is your chance to meet the people behind 195+ student societies and a huge range of volunteering projects, from established charities to student-led initiatives. You can chat to current members, find out what’s involved, ask about membership, socials and training, and get a feel for what it’s really like to be part of a group.
You might discover a new hobby, find a cause you care about, meet your future friends or stumble across something you never knew existed.
Whether you already know exactly what you want to get involved with or you’re looking for something completely new, come along and explore everything student life has to offer.
The fair takes place at Newcastle University Sports Centre, with a Quiet Hour from 10:00–11:00 to make the environment less sensory stimulating for students with hidden disabilities.
