Workshop

The new purpose built workshop has bespoke facilities, including a variety of modelling and prototyping equipment, digital fabrication suite including 3D printers and laser cutters, woodworking and hand tools and bench space. We also have a novel wet fabrication space for biotechnology work, one of the first in the world in our disciplines. Our technicians are on hand to help, teach and ensure safe working practices.  All students must have a Workshop Induction before being allowed to use the workshop freely.

Workshop Materials

The workshop also provides materials to purchase, materials cannot always be guaranteed so we recommend you discuss your requirements with staff in the workshop beforehand.
