As part of the Global Hotseat we are also looking for 15 students to be interviewed the morning of the GaGA event on Wednesday 22 February for an imaginary graduate level job at Hot Seat Inc.
You will be invited for a ten-minute interview conducted by our Careers Service and top graduate recruiters to test your interview skills. All you need to do is sign up and submit your CV by 12:00 (noon) on Friday 17 February.
The top three interviewees will make it through to the final and will be invited to be interviewed in the Global Hotseat session…in front of a live student audience!
This is perfect chance to practice your interview skills and get feedback on your technique from the experts themselves- HR Directors and our Careers Service. With prizes of £100 in vouchers for the winner, £50 for the runner up and £25 for third place, what have you got to lose?!
If you are thinking about applying to be interviewed for the Global Hotseat session, don’t forget the Careers Service has a wealth of information on how to prepare for interviews. You can even practice interviews by visiting the Careers Service or try their Interview Simulator.
The Global Hotseat was one of our most popular session at last year’s Gain a Global Advantage event, so sign up as early as possible to avoid disappointment!

Unfortunately, all of our slots to be interviewed are now full and so we are unable to take any more applications. However, if you’re keen to improve your interview skills, attending the session in the audience will still give you great insight into what global employers are looking for in interview scenarios.
