Background

I originally joined the School in 2007 as Science Communications Manager for the Rural Economy and Land Use Programme (Relu) and I was responsible for writing and editing the very successful Relu Policy and Practice Notes and Briefing Papers, as well as managing the communications and media strategy for the Programme.

When Relu finished in 2013 I was commissioned by the Economic and Social Research Council to produce a new series of Policy and Practice Notes for the Living With Environmental Change partnership. 

I currently carry out science communications work for the School and for the Centre for Rural Economy, and am Communications Manager for the Landbridge knowledge network which brings together researchers and land advisers (www.landbridge.org.uk).
