Offer-holder Experience Day April 24

We are delighted to welcome you, our prospective new students, to our campus and to the Percy Building.

This afternoon is intended to introduce you to the experience of studying your subject with us here in the School of English at Newcastle.

You will have the opportunity to meet staff, current students and fellow offer-holders.

Our events include a sample lecture and seminar activities in your subject (whether it is Literature, Language, Linguistics, Literature and History or Creative Writing).

We want to give you a chance to hear, experience and participate in the kinds of analysis and activities that you will undertake on your degree.

Depending on your degree you will discuss some literary texts, participate in language analysis or draft some creative writing. Over lunch, you can chat to staff and current students; tour the Percy Building, the home of our School; get a degree overview from our posters and exhibits, and discuss health and wellbeing with our dedicated advisor.

If you have received an offer from us, you should also have received an invitation to book your place on an offer-holder day. This invitation will come to the same email address as your offer and should arrive a few days after your offer email. But if you are an offer-holder and have not received your invitation to book a place, please email us at selll@ncl.ac.uk and we will book you in.
