Saccharomyces Genome Database

The Saccharomyces Genome Database (SGD) provides comprehensive integrated biological information for the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae along with search and analysis tools to explore these data, enabling the discovery of functional relationships between sequence and gene products in fungi and higher organisms.

PomBase

PomBase is a comprehensive database for the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe, providing structural and functional annotation, literature curation and access to large-scale data sets.

R Programming Courses

Jumping Rivers Ltd provides training, consulting and dashboard development. Training covers R, Shiny, Stan and Scala, ringing from introductory programming, to cutting edge machine learning topics.

SNP Genotyping Analysis Using Taqman Assays

SNP Genotyping Analysis Using TaqMan Assays A comprehensive list of the pre-designed ThermoFisherTaqMan assays for more 17 million SNPs of interest. The assays are available in 48-, 96- and 384-well format and each includes two allele-specific TaqMan MGB probes containing distinct fluorescent dyes and a PCR primer pair to detect specific SNP targets.

Taqman Advanced miRNA Assays

TaqMan Advanced miRNA Assays for the identification of pre-designed ThermoFisher TaqMan assays for the specific quantification of mature miRNAs using qPCR. These assays are used in tandem with the TaqMan Advanced miRNA cDNA Synthesis Kit, allowing the detection of multiple miRNA targets from a single sample. These assay can be used on both isolated total RNA or serum and plasma.

PrimePCR™ PCR Primers, Assays, and Arrays

PrimePCR™ PCR Primers, Assays, and Arrays A tool to explore the collection of Bio-Rad PrimePCR™ PCR Primers, Assays, and Arrays for real time expression analysis. The assays come as unlabeled PCR primer pairs for use with dye-based chemistry (such as SYBR® Green - PrimePCR™ SYBR® Green Assay) or as probe assays with unlabeled PCR primers and a dual labeled fluorescent probe (PrimePCR™ Probe Assay as in TaqMan assays). Also available are positive controls for the qPCR (PrimerPCR template) and primer sets for the specific pre-amplification of the cDNA (PrimerPCR PreaAmp). Of note: these assays require a lead time of 3-4 weeks.
