Developing engineers for complex aerospace systems

Complex aerospace systems need engineers who can think across disciplines, technologies and operating environments.

Our Learning Partnerships team can help organisations connect with talented students and graduates, contribute to their development and build relationships with the future engineering workforce.

Opportunities can include collaborative student projects, placements, employer engagement, professional development and tailored routes into Newcastle University expertise.

A £4.3 million investment in engineering training is strengthening this talent pipeline, creating 372 additional full-time student places over three years in disciplines linked to defence and emerging technologies.
