Intramural Captain or Committee Member

Take the lead in intramural sport

Help create a positive sport experience for fellow students. You’ll organise fixtures and team availability. You’ll also keep players up to date with key information and deadlines. 

As a Captain, you’ll promote good sportsmanship and build an inclusive team environment. You’ll also work with Newcastle University Sport to share updates and provide feedback on the intramural programme. 

As a Committee Member, you’ll support the Captain with team promotion, recruitment, social events and match days. 

You’ll develop your communication, self-management and leadership skills. You’ll learn how to motivate others, work as a team and take responsibility. You’ll also build adaptability and resilience.
