Practice your English in an informal setting

The Language Resource Centre (LRC) offers informal English practice sessions as part of our Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Programme.

If you would like to come and practise your spoken English, in a relaxed setting with peers - then sign up today. The sessions start from next week here in the Language Resource Centre.

The groups are not taught classes, so do not worry about making mistakes or any homework - they are led by our friendly Native Level PAL Leaders, who are students themselves.

These are simply a great opportunity for you to:

  • become more confident with your English language
  • learn about some topics you may not have covered in class
  • hopefully meet some likeminded people at the same time

We offer two levels for the sessions:

  • English Improvers: for those at A2 level or more (approx IELTS 6)
  • English Conversation Group: for those at level B1 or more (approx IELTS 7)

We also provide English Language Learning software and resources within the Language Resource Centre, where you can work on your reading and listening comprehension in your own time.
