University life might not always feel like the 'best years of your life'. This can be especially true if you've faced a recent loss or one from the past that still affects you. Grief and loss can feel isolating and lonely. Knowing you are not alone and support is available is important.

This wellbeing session will look at how grief and loss affect us physically, emotionally, socially, and academically. Knowing how grief affects your body and brain can help you understand what you might need while studying.

The session will also let you learn about a monthly bereavement support group. You can decide if you’d like to join. You’ll have time to reflect, build skills in self-awareness, and communicate with others. However, it's not compulsory to talk and you are welcome to come along and listen, without sharing.
