Become a Student Spokesperson
School Reps are voluntary roles that are overseen by the Academic Officer, at the Students' Union. They represent students' academic interests and work with the University staff to create positive changes in each School.
They are leading representatives at faculty level committees. School Reps deal with any academic issues, communicate feedback to both the University and students, as well as push for change that will better the academic experience.
You will attend and supply feedback to Student-Staff Committees or School Forums, Faculty Education Committees and meet Head of Academic Units or nominated deputies each semester.
As a School Rep, you will play a crucial role in helping the Students' Union, and in particular the Academic Officer, with our commitment to support and represent students.
You will receive induction training and be supported by the Students' Union Student Voice team and have the opportunity to attend events.
