Become a Social Media Officer
Newcastle University First Responders support the North East Ambulance Service, responding to medical emergencies and providing early care to patients before ambulance crews arrive. Depending on the situation and the volunteers training, this can include carrying out an initial assessment, providing basic life support and CPR, using a defibrillator, taking observations, providing appropriate initial treatment and supporting patients and their families until the ambulance crew arrives.
As the Social Media Officer you will:
- promote Newcastle University First Responders through engaging social media content
- deliver administrative support with recruitment, training and fundraising
- understand and adhere to Newcastle University Students' Union's (NUSU's) policies and procedures include their Safeguarding Policy
