Scientists and Engineers play an integral part in our everyday life, whether it is the food we eat, the makeup we use or the buildings we live in.

 

Newcastle University is running a free event for Mothers and Daughters who are currently in Year 9 on Saturday 7th May 2016. 

 

This event is designed to inspire mothers together with their year 9 daughters to think about studying STEM subjects and show them the range of career options available to them.

 

During the morning you will be able to create a skin product and find out about the science involved. You can also fill in our careers survey to find out what fantastic career you are destined for. Then to round up find out what it's like to be an female engineer in today's working environment with a question and answer session.
