About the network
The Sustainable Investment and Financial Instruments Network (SIFIN) brings together researchers working across sustainable finance, investment and financial innovation.
Our interdisciplinary network combines expertise in finance, accounting, management, marketing and computing.
We explore how investment decisions, financial instruments, data and analytical methods can support environmental and social goals.
Sustainable finance, investment and transition
We investigate sustainable investment and the financial instruments that can support environmental and social goals. Our research covers areas including green and sustainability-linked bonds, transition finance, ESG integration, responsible banking and inclusive finance.
We also examine the governance and disclosure frameworks that support sustainable financial decision-making.
Climate risk, data and analytical innovation
We explore how climate-related financial risks can be understood, measured and incorporated into financial decision-making.
Our research includes climate risk pricing, transition risk modelling, scenario analysis and sustainable finance data, as well as AI and other data-driven approaches to financial analysis.
