Background
This project develops a methodology for a coproduction approach to the rapid prototyping of research-based comics projects, through online working during Covid19 social distancing restrictions. This methodology is developed through three phases of structured online workshops exploring the benefits and dangers of using comics in research, using underlying theoretical research about how race and class influence how we read comics. Outputs will include guidance resources for researchers and for comics creators on a coproduction approach to using comics in research.
