Background

As NIHR Patient Safety Research Collaboration (PSRC) Operations Administrator. I provide administrative support to the Operations Manager to ensure the operational aspects of the PSRC are managed and carried out effectively. I also provide administrative support to the Director, the External Scientific Advisory Group (ESAG), the PSRC Management Group, the Academic Career Development Group, the Public Partnership Advisory Group and the four Theme Leads. I am based within the School of Pharmacy and have a key outward facing role in supporting the PSRC.

Prior to this role I worked at Newcastle Hospitals for 13 years before joining Newcastle University in 2026. I have 10 years of research experience at Newcastle Hospitals, starting as a Clinical Research Secretary, then Data Manager, and finally Clinical Trials Coordinator.
