START UP events and workshops help students and recent graduates explore new ideas, build skills, and meet people interested in working for themselves.
Through our partnership with the Rob Wood Enterprising Futures Academy, you'll have access to workshops, guest speakers, networking events, and support to help you grow. Whether you're curious about working for yourself, developing an idea, starting a business, or growing an existing venture, you'll find events to match your stage and goals.
Along the way, you'll build skills such as self-management, communication and problem solving. You'll also have the chance to learn from founders, industry experts, and other students.
All events are open to Newcastle University students and graduates within two years of completing their degree, giving you the chance to learn, connect, and take your next step.
