Poetic Transformations, a pilot developed for Mark Byers and Sinead Morrissey's research project, is part of the Animating Text Newcastle University project. The is a collaboration between scholarly editors based in humanities disciplines and Research Software Engineers, both based at Newcastle University. Poetic Transformations aims to provide a way for scholars to interact with versions of a poem, viewing manuscripts, proofs and printed versions alongside each other. Users can view deletions and additions within versions, search for words and phrases across all poems and view an auto-generated spine index.
