Returners Support Programme

Internal funding scheme for academic returners

During 2017-18 the University launched the Returners Support Programme to support academic teaching or research staff to return to work following a period of leave for caring responsibilities. Funding of up to £10K can be used to cover the cost of a variety of activities including:

  • Short-term technical or teaching support
  • Training
  • Attending conferences

However, the level of support required will be unique to the individual, and each application will be considered on a case by case basis.
