Studying at Newcastle
The most positive aspects of studying Politics at Newcastle were the friendly, approachable and helpful staff who provide a conducive and constructive atmosphere to work in. There is also a wide selection of module choices.
The modules I found most interesting were Conservatism, Nationalism, Fascism, Liberalism, Socialism, Anarchism, Government and Politics of Italy, Hobbes to Marx, Critical International Politics.
I found working with both David Walker and Phil Daniels to be a really great experience. Both of them teach their modules using effective teaching methods and demonstrate a passion for their subjects not matched by many other members of staff.
After graduating from Newcastle I went on to Sheffield University to study an MA in Governance and Public Policy.
