Background
I am a Lecturer in Political Geography here at Newcastle. My research interests are varied, with an interdisciplinary focus on politics, aesthetics and geography in the ‘Middle East’. I joined GPS at Newcastle as a Postdoctoral Research Associate on the War and Geos project, led by Dr Mark Griffiths. Prior to that I was an Early Career Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Study at the University of Warwick, where I also gained my PhD in Politics and International Studies.
