Find out about the advice and guidance available for PGR students during their studies.

As a postgraduate research student at Newcastle, you have a lot of support available from the Student Progress Service and your Graduate School to help you throughout your programme.

We can provide advice and guidance on key postgraduate research activities including registration, progression and exams. Find out what you need to do if you have a change in your circumstances as a research student.

The Graduate Schools provide support to postgraduate research students at Newcastle University. 

To access support, students should contact their Graduate School:

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HaSS) and Faculty of Science, Agriculture & Engineering (SAgE)gradschool@ncl.ac.uk

Drop in sessions via zoom will be held Monday to Friday 10:00-12:00.  These session will be ran using a waiting room which will be managed by a member of the HaSS and SAgE Graduate School.
