News
News items can be created in T4 and published to the News or News & Events section of your website.
News grids and lists
News content is found in the News or News & Event section of your site. News can be displayed on your website as a grid or list. These will be setup for you by the Marketing Web Services Team.
An example news grid can be seen on the School of Architecture Planning and Landscape site. A news list has been used on the Newcastle Law School site.
News items
News items can be set to expire from the website on a specific date/time, or be set to publish on a date in the future.
The content on the grid or list links through to a news item page. The News Header component used in T4 creates the content for the grid or list and the news item page heading. The content below the News page header is created using a combination of components which best support the content.
In T4 your News section should include a template News item section. This template contains the basic components to create a news item. Duplicate the template and swap out components to suit your content.
