The purpose of this site is to showcase the responsive design and template for Newcastle University's external websites hosted in T4 Version 7.

This site provides web editors with guidelines for when and how to use the building blocks available in the T4 Version 7 content management system. These are divided into two categories: content types and page types.

To see how the template responds to a different screen size resize your browser, or view this site on a mobile device. On desktop you will need to refresh your browser after resizing to make the content flow in the correct order.

Content types

Content types form the building blocks for adding content to your page. Each content type determines the styling and behaviour of your content.

There are a number of new page types in T4. They allow you to create:

Each of these can be output onto a list page, as an A-Z or by role/theme. News can also be output in a grid layout or as a ticker.

Homepages will be custom built for each site by the Corporate Web Development team.
