Module 2: News and Events
Overview
Welcome to Module 2. This module contains two training videos and one assessment form. The focus of Module 2 is on managing news and events items in Terminal 4.
What you'll learn in this module
They key things you'll learn in Module 2 are:
- how to add news items to your website
- how to add event items to your website
- how to use the 'Publish Now' function in Terminal 4
Time needed to complete this module
You'll need to set aside about 40 minutes to complete this module. The breakdown of activities is as follows:
- 12 minutes: Managing and publishing news, training video
- 13 minutes: How to add an event item, training video
- 10 - 20 minutes: An assessment with a mixture of multiple choice and true/false questions

Before you begin
When you log into the Terminal 4 system for the first time, you'll only see one website - this is the 'Staff Sandbox' site that you can use throughout the training process. Request a login to the Staff Sandbox.
Watch Training Video 1
Watch the first training video 'News and Events' before completing the assessment in the final tab. The first video, News and Publish Now, will teach you how to add news items to the website and how to publish immediately to the website.

The next video, Events and Publish Now, will teach you how to add event items to the website and how to publish immediately to the website.

This assessment covers what you've learned from the 'Managing and Publishing News' and 'How to Add an Event Item' videos. There are three sections to complete.
