The Politics of Memory Research Group
The Newcastle University Politics of Memory Research Group provides a forum for cutting edge scholarship on the politics of memory in a global context.
Our work spans both theoretical and empirical analysis of the dynamic relationship between memory and politics. We approach these questions from diverse perspectives, using a wide variety of methodologies, techniques, and theoretical frameworks.
Throughout the year, we host presentations from both internal and external speakers, reading groups, work-in-progress seminars and engagement events.
