University of Oslo

The University of Oslo is an academic institution created in 1811. It is nowadays one of the biggest institutions of the country and has more than 27,000 students and 6,000 employees.

The university has eight faculties and many courses are taught in both Norwegian and English. The University's buildings are spread out over four parts of Oslo. The main campus, Blindern, is located on the western outskirts of the city centre. It has four Nobel Prize winners, which is a good indicator on the quality of the research at the University.
