Advisory Board

The role of the advisory board will be to advise and where appropriate assist with, future development of the law school’s priorities in the following areas:

  • Widening Participation and Student Recruitment - continuing to attract students of excellent ability, whilst building on the School’s positive and pro-active contribution to raise aspirations and increase and widen participation in Higher Education.
  • Curriculum Development - continuing to provide the highest standards of research-led learning and teaching, which inspires the best in our students.
  • Careers and Graduate Employability - pro-actively supporting our students to achieve their ambitions, including equipping them with the knowledge and skills to be successful in the future. 
  • Engagement - strengthening our engagement with civil society through initiatives which engage and inform the public, industry, education and the third sector. 
  • Research Impact and Development - promoting the economic, social and cultural benefits of our research and identifying appropriate opportunities to engage with partners outside of academia in our research development.
  • Alumni Relations - forging and strengthening links between both the academic and student communities at the Law School with former students, philanthropic donors and those who wish to help the School to maximize the societal benefit of its teaching and research.
