Why did you chose to study Law at Newcastle University?

The University has outstanding research and publication and is among the best University in the UK. When I arrived at the University I was warmly welcomed. The University has rich of readings both ordinary library and online library. I had enjoyed to study there as I met with different cultures and nationalities.

What did you like the most about your course?

International Commerce Law

How would you describe the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne?

It is a good city with good landscape, the two rivers, Tyne and Wear, Millennium Bridge and the people are nice and charming

Please give a brief description of your career journey since graduating from Newcastle University.

Since 2008 I have been lecturing at St. August University of Tanzania, at Mwanza Campus, and also I am a Barrister of the High Court of Tanzania and the Court of Appeal since 2010 to date.

How has your time studying Law, and other activities, at Newcastle University contributed to you achieving your career goals?

It was difficulty to learn the culture but later on I made friends including Alan Mackenzie and more and also transport is good to connect every places.

In a one line quote, sum up why you would encourage a prospective student to study law at Newcastle?

It is a centre for academic excellence.
