Partners Scheme

The School of Biomedical, Nutritional and Sport Sciences takes part in the Partners programme supported entry route.

Get involved

The Partners Programme is a hybrid residential summer school (part in person, part online) designed to support eligible students on their journey into Higher Education. We're looking for students who demonstrate the potential to thrive at Newcastle University.

By successfully completing the programme, you’ll receive a conditional offer that is lower than the typical entry requirement for your chosen course.

What we offer

This 5-day programme mirrors a typical university learning experience. You’ll take part in lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, giving you a real taste of academic life.

At the start of the week, you’ll be introduced to a research case study. Throughout the programme, you’ll work towards a proposed solution with support from academic staff, the School’s technical team, and postgraduate mentors.

To demonstrate your engagement, you’ll be expected to complete a series of academic and practical tasks. These will need to be submitted as directed during the week.
