Alumni Benefits

Continue to access support services from Newcastle University.

Careers Service

You can access the University’s Careers Service for three years after graduation. The award-winning service helps you make the most of your skills and experiences.

Career support doesn’t end after three years. You can continue to access the content created by our Careers Service. This includes their Masterclass series on YouTube.

Library access

Graduates of Newcastle (and King's College Durham) have free reference access to:

  • the Law Library
  • Philip Robinson Library
  • Marjorie Robinson Library
  • Walton Library (library for Faculty of Medical Sciences)

If you need borrowing facilities, the annual (discounted) rate for alumni is £20. This allows borrowing in all three libraries. To get a smartcard to give you access, enquire at the Service Desk. Staff will be able to check your entry on the alumni database.
