Postgraduate Environmental Law Bursary
Mr Benjamin Ile has very generously donated a gift in honour of his mentor, Mr. Lucius Nwosu SAN, to provide a bursary of £500 to a Nigerian student registered with Newcastle Law School, and who is either:
- pursuing the LLM with a clearly expressed interest in environmental law or;
- is a stage 3 UG student who is approved to write either a Dissertation or a Research Topic in environmental law
The bursary will be payable following registration at the start of the 2023/24 academic year and confirmation of the specific work to be undertaken in the area of environmental law.
If there is more than one student eligible for the bursary, the award will be made following consideration of each student’s prior academic achievement and interest/expertise in environmental law as demonstrated on their LLM application or in the case of a stage 3 UG student their previous UG study and dissertation/research project proposal.
