Background
I am a Visiting Lecturer in Statistics in the School of Mathematics, Statistics & Physics at Newcastle University. My areas of expertise are Bayesian inference, time series and forecasting and decision analysis.
Academic background
I gained my BSc (1976) and PhD (1979) from Newcastle University, both in Statistics. I then taught at a number of other institutions until 2005 when I returned to Newcastle. I retired in 2019 and I am now a Visiting Lecturer.
