Senior Lecturer in Statistics


Chris is a Senior Lecturer in Statistics at Newcastle University and a Group Leader on the Programme for Data-Centric Engineering at the Alan Turing Institute. He also co-leads a SAMSI working group on Probabilistic Numerical Methods.

Areas of expertise

  • Computational statistics - mostly Bayesian.
  • Inverse problems and probabilistic numerical methods.
  • Uncertainty quantification in engineering applications.
