A graphene-based wireless sensor network.

Supervisors

Project description

I am developing a Graphene-based Wireless Sensor Network for infrastructure monitoring. The network is state of the art, low cost and easy to install.

We will exploit recent research and breakthroughs in fields like:

  • nanomaterials
  • high precision piezo-electric inkjet printing
  • low power RF transceivers
  • solar energy harvesting

We are basing the entire system on the emerging Internet of Things [IoT]. At its core, the system will have a novel Graphene sensor developed specifically for this purpose.
