Studying at Newcastle

Why did you choose to study at Newcastle University?

I have always loved Newcastle. My dad was born here, and we have been coming up to visit family every year. Naturally, I fell in love with the city. I wholeheartedly believe that Geordies are the friendliest people you will ever meet, and they are so quick to welcome you as one of their own. The university has amazing facilities and scores highly for my course too, so it was a no-brainer.

How do you think your course prepared you for your chosen career?

It has equipped me with the analytical and research skills required for drafting reports and ensuring accuracy in written testimonials.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Newcastle University?

I loved spending time with all the friends I made at Newcastle and exploring what the city has to offer, from nights out, to music venues, to sporting clubs, and the many beaches in Northumberland.

Please describe your time at Newcastle University in three words:

Amazing. Unforgettable. Inspiring.
