Royal College of Physicians
The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) was founded almost 500 years ago. Its mission is to ensure that medicine is practised to the highest standards.
Today, in the 21st century, the RCP remains central to providing the best health services.
Education is a core function of the RCP. It takes an adaptive and flexible approach in helping physicians with their educational requirements.
The RCP has strong links with Malaysia and other countries in South-East Asia. It delivers clinical and educational continuing professional development programmes in the region. It also delivers postgraduate examinations.
Our academic staff contribute to the work of the Royal Colleges through professional memberships, fellowships and examiner roles. These connections help ensure that our teaching and assessment remain informed by current clinical practice and professional standards.
NUMed Malaysia is also an MRCP(UK) PACES examination centre, providing a venue for one of the key assessments undertaken by doctors pursuing postgraduate physician training. Through this role, we support the development of healthcare professionals in Malaysia and across the region.
