Roles and Responsibilities

Starting on Aug 2023, in charge of the Cataloguing section in the library, processing of new book arrival to library collection.

Formerly in Reference Service section:

• Web editor for NUMed Library's Libguides - I had successfully re-designed the website and increased the websites view to an average 10k+ views per year
• Designed and organised the website's layout
• Analysed the website's statistics and introduced new features to improve the website content
• As part of job to update the web content, attained skills of poster designs
• Explore databases and resources and update content into the website
• Preparing library instructions and guideline to use the library services and resources in the forms of video and document guides as well as guide the library users hand in hand to use the resources.
• Organises library event, information literacy class such as Endnote and Scopus database.
• Participate in the Library induction to the new students.

Circulation and Customer Service duty at the counter:

• Provides customer service to patrons of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC). This includes a daily routine of issue, renewal and return of items, registration process, respond to enquiries and dealing with all aspects of the reservation systems, etc.
• Instructs library patrons on how to use reference resources, online public access catalogue (OPAC), and automated information system.
• Manage the library from noise and other disruption to ensure it is a conducive environment for student to study.
