Senior lecturer in primary care teaching stage 3 and 5 students

Lead in Essential Senior Rotation (ESR) for stage 5

Teaching classes in FOCP

Mentor with the Academy of Family Medicine, Malaysia  and  facilitator  of the  diploma  in family medicine workshops

Setting examination questions for continuous assessment examinations for the Academy.

BACKGROUND

Graduated in 1990 from Madurai Medical College in India. Worked as a houseman in Hospital Sultanah Aminah,Johor Bahru till1994.
Medical officer in Forensic Psychiatry (Hospital Permai) from 1994-1999.

Worked in a private medical practice in Johor Bahru until 2002 and then ran my  own  practice for 12 years.

POSTGRADUATE QUALIFICATIONS

2011 Completed my Diploma in Family Medicine with The Aademy of Family Medicine,Malaysia

2013 Obtained my conjoint family medicine specialist degree MAFP and FRACGP (Australia)

2015 Completed my certificate in medical education both in NuMED and Chapter of teachers,Malaysia

MEMBERSHIPS

I am a member of the Royal Australian College of General Pactitioners

I am a life member of Academy of Family Medicine, Malaysia

I am also a life member of the Malaysian Medical Association
