Professor Ian Haynes spoke on BBC Newcastle mid-morning radio show, hosted by Gilly Hope, on Tuesday 26th October. The interview covers Professor Ian Haynes' work at Birdoswald with collegues from Historic England and Archaeology fieldwork students. He also speaks about Roman archaeology, his work in Italy on the Rome Transformed project and what it's like being an archaeologist based in the North East of England.
