The university was established in 1928 and has since developed into a top 100 university. Aarhus university has 40,000 students currently enrolled and around 10,000 staff members.

Aarhus is the second-largest city in Denmark with a population of 330,000. Considered Denmark’s youngest city, students comprise of more than 10% of Aarhus’ entire population.
