The "WISDOM: Women In Science Doing Outstanding Maths (and Physics)" careers event
WISDOM will take place in person on campus this year. The event will be on Wednesday 12th June 2024, 4.30pm – 7.30pm in the Herschel Building at Newcastle University.
Please note, Registration will open approximatley one month before the event.

The event will include:
- Engagement talks from inspirational women in Maths, Stats and Physics
- Dr Magda Car ("TBC")
- Dr Alex Svalova ("TBC")
- Q&A with inspirational women from industry and academia
- Profiles from students/staff from the School of Maths, Stats and Physics
- Careers carousel where participants can meet and chat with inspirational woman from a range of backgrounds that all use Maths (or Physics) in their daily work
